IEDC 2017 Agents of C.H.A.N.G.E. Conference

The Agents of Change Conference will provide free training to 250 professionals that provide services and impact the lives of nearly 500,000 seniors and persons with disabilities (SPDs) living in the Inland Empire.

Keynote Speaker: Judy Huemann

Judy Huemann is an American disability rights activist. An internationally recognized leader in the disability community, Heumann is a lifelong civil rights advocate for people with disabilities. In January 2017 she retired as Special Advisor for International Disability Rights, U.S. State Dept. Celebrity Performer: José Feliciano

José Feliciano, is a Puerto Rican singer and songwriter who was born blind, best known for many international hits, including his rendition of The Doors' "Light My Fire" and the best-selling Christmas single, "Feliz Navidad". In the US, he received widespread popularity in the 1960s, particularly after his 1968 album, Feliciano!, came out and was a number two hit. He has released many albums over the years in both English and Spanish.

Our goal is to motivate service providers to deliver services in an efficient way with topics such as:
 

Building technical skills base on ADA principles and other disability policy 

Reconnecting to our Roots: Why do we do advocate for change? 

Practical techniques that enhance services and bring financial resources to the Inland Empire

How can leaders incorporate change in their organization’s policy and provide efficient services for SPDs?
